Back to the Grind

I woke up on time today without the alarm, for which I am truly relieved–I worried that the break would have made it difficult for me to get up early again, but I still got it! I wasn’t too hungry this morning, which I was surprised because I ate dinner really early yesterday, so I just had some puffed brown rice with some milk and coffee before heading over to the gym.  I also made some hard-boiled eggs for the week while I was eating breakfast.

At the gym, I completed my Super Sweaty 21 Minute Workout on the spin bike, except I added another round.  Then, I walked down to the weight room and completed a 25 minute, 2 circuit leg workout.  After stretching, I headed back to the dorm to shower; I was so glad I decided to wear a hoodie and sweats over my workout clothes rather than just a zip-up, because it is very cold today and my ears always get cold when I walk to and from the gym!

I ate a batch of overnight oats made with a Honeycrisp apple and topped with my homemade peanut butter (boy, have I missed it!).  Homemade Peanut ButterThen, I made some High Protein Wraps for the next few days.

I am debating whether to go to the computer lab to work on a problem set for my econometrics class now or wait until after my first class…I feel like I am still on vacation!  Definitely leaning toward procrastinating and rolling my feet on the tennis ball (always fun!), because the arches have been begging for some attention since Saturday!

Do you find it easy to transition from vacation back to work?
